What are your hours?

Are walk-ins welcome?


Yes! We have staff on call and can normally get an appointment booked within an hour. It is always best to call first or go online to book an appointment.




Are you hiring?


We are always looking for qualified workers. If you are a licensed hair stylist, nail technician, esthetician, massage therapist, or assistant looking to work full time or just a few hours or days per week, please click here to attach your resume, cover letter, position interested in applying for, and your salary history and requirements. Can I buy a Gift Card online?


Yes! You can buy a Gift Card online and send it to anyone, even yourself, in an email. Gift Cards can be purchased in any amount from $25 to $1000 securely through paypal by clicking here.

What is your gratuity policy?


In this industry it is normal to tip your service providers for their hard work and effort. The average tip amount starts at 20% of the full priced service received. So, if you were fortunate to receive your service at a discounted rate, the gratuity should still be given on the full priced service. A 20% gratuity will automatically be added to your final bill. You will always have the option to increase or lower that amount as you see fit.




How do I determine how much gratuity to leave?


If you enjoyed your service and you feel your expectations were adequately met, you would leave a 20% gratuity for the service provider. If you really enjoyed your service and you feel that your expectations were met or slightly exceeded, you would leave a 25% gratuity for the service provider. If you really enjoyed your service and you feel that your service provider went above and beyond your expectations, you would leave a 30%+ gratuity or more. When deciding on a gratuity, you must always remember the regular service pricing. As XQUENDA Spa often runs deals for clients to receive services at a discounted rate, the quality of service NEVER decreases. Please know our service providers give fully from their heart and energy is exhausted regarless of how much the client pays. The gratuity is how we show our appreciation for the service provider’s delivery.




If I have a service that is at a discount, do I tip on the sale price or regular price?


Here at XQUENDA Spa at Rancho Manana we strive to be the best. We often run deals to drive clients in to receive services. We like to remind our clients that regardless of how much they have paid for their service, gratuity should alway be calculated from the full priced service amount. We have provided the following chart to make tipping easier for our clients: 30-Minute Service is $60 reg. the gratuity is 20% - 30% or $12.00 - $18.00 50-Minute Service is $110 reg. the gratuity is 20% - 30% or $22.00 - $33.00 80-Minute Service is $145 reg. the gratuity is 20% - 30% or $29.00 - $43.50 110-Minute Service is $200 reg. the gratuity is 20% - 30% or $40.00 - $60.00

Are your therapists licensed?


Yes! Our therapists are licensed in the State of Arizona to practice the different tretment and modalities we offer at XQUENDA Spa at Ranch Mañana. Most of our therapists are also dual licensed. We have some of the most talented therapists to assure your treatment is safe, therapeutic, and enjoyable.




Do you offer manicures and pedicures?


Yes! We have a nail technician available Tuesdays-Saturdays 9am-5pm.




Are your therapists male or female?


We have one male therapist on staff and numerous female therapists that provide services.




How many services can you accommodate at one time?


We have 6 treatment rooms and 3 more beds in our lash studio so we can treat 9 people in one hour for either facial or massage services.




Can you accommodate a group of people? How many at one time?


We can accommodate small to large groups, depending on which services your group is interested in receiving. For example, we can provide 9 massages or 9 facials or a combination of the two in one hour. We have 9 service tables/rooms. We can accommodate larger groups too by alternating the different services and including additional services, such as manicures, pedicures, and hair services. Many large groups have also enjoyed having lunch brought in from Tonto Bar & Grill at the spa's discounted rate. What Is Microcurrent?


Microcurrent is a safe and effective non-invasive technology used in age management facials that utilizes a low level of electricity to stimulate the face. Microcurrent facials result in skin that is firm, contoured, and hydrated. Applications can be enjoyed as a one time facial, or in a series for improved comprehensive results.

What do microcurrent facials feel like?

What is the typical number of services a client receives?


Microcurrent facials are a fabulous one time service, and greatest improvement will be seen with a series. Depending on client individual goals, a typical series is 6-10 treatments over a 6-10 week period of time. Maintenance facials should be scheduled once a month thereafter.




Are microcurrent facials right for everyone?


Microcurrent is for use on healthy faces by healthy people. Individuals who fall into the below categories should not receive microcurrent facials. Clients who have past or present health concerns or questions not listed must consult with their physician to determine if microcurrent is right for them. Contraindications to microcurrent use: Pacemaker or other implanted electronic devices Epilepsy Pregnancy (client or esthetician) Cancer Thrombosis Phlebitis Metal plates or pins in the application area Under a physician’s care for a disorder, illness, disease, or injury DO NOT use microcurrent if any contraindication is present.




What is the difference between handheld or home use units and professional Bio-Therapeutic microcurrent?


While handheld and home units are novel, they are often imported gadgets that do not have the engineering and manufacturing standards behind them to support safety and results. Many use high levels of electricity that can be damaging and detrimental. Bio-Therapeutic professional microcurrent equipment is programmed with exclusive Suzuki Sequencing technology for proven results. This technology is engineered with proprietary waveshape, frequency, and output calculations. What is the difference between Microcurrent facials and Galvanic facials?


Galvanic facials work on the principle of running a higher level of direct and constant electrical current (milliamps) from a probe or other implement on the client’s face to an implement held in the client’s hand or attached to their body. Electrical current is run through the client’s entire body from one implement to the other to close the electrical loop in a galvanic facial. Microcurrent on the other hand uses an extremely low and safe level of pulsed current (microamps) with specific outputs and wave shapes. In this facial, the electrical current is only applied to the client’s face, and the current only travels between the two probes that are less than 2 inches apart.

Is there access to the pool and hot tub at Rancho Mañana?


At this time our guests will not have access to the pool facilities.





VIP Club XQUENDA

What is VIP Club XQUENDA Membership?


The memberhip program is for both residents and non-residents. For a monthly payment of just $79, the member receives either a 50-minute massage or a 50-minute facial of their choice every month.




What other perks come with joining the membership program?


Just for signing up you will receive SIX $20 gift cards for free. You can use them yourself to upgrade your monthly service, for product purchase or you can give them away to family or friends to enjoy sercives at XQUENDA Spa at Rancho Manana! You'll also receive a $40 gift card for your birthday to use during your birthday month. All members receive a 10% discount on retail products and 15% discount on booking additional services.




What if I leave for the summer and I am not here for my services?


No problem, we offer a "freeze and roll" option during your membership term. You can freeze your services and they will just roll over until you return. Then you will have a facial and massage each month if you like or you can share the services with a friend. Your monthly payment of $79 each month will continue while you are away.




What is the administrative fee?


There is an administrative fee of $125 due at signup. This fee is used to process your account and set up automatic withdrawals from your bank or credit card company,




What hours are you open for services?


We are open Mondays 9am-5pm for all guests and 5pm-8pm for VIP Members only, Tuesdays-Saturdays 9am-6pm for all guests and 6pm-8pm for VIP Members only, and Sundays are reserved for our VIP Club XQUENDA Members ONLY 11am-3pm. We require at least 48 hour notice of your intention to book your service during the extended hours so we can staff the facility. We are closed during these hours if we do not have services.




How long is the Membership contract for?


The VIP Club XQUENDA Membership is a 12 month commitment. After the initial 12 months, the contract will automatically renew unless the Member has decided to cancel. If the Member decides to cancel their Membership, they will have an additional 6 months in which to finish using their rolled over services, if applicable.




What if I sign up and then change my mind, can I cancel my Membership and get a refund?


No refunds will be given for cancelled memberships.

NEED HELP CHOOSING?

I like a firm touch but I don't want to be sore after my massage, which massage is right for me?


The best choice for you would be a swedish massage for either 50-minutes, 80-minutes or 110-minutes. Our Licensed Massage Therapists are trained in all modalities. We urge every client to communicate their preferences with their therapist before and during the service.




I have a knot in my shoulder and i need the therapist to focus on getting it out, which massage is best for me?


The best choice for you would be a deep tissue massage for either 50-minutes, 80-minutes or 110-minutes. Our Licensed Massage Therapists are trained in all modalities. We urge every client to communicate their preferences with their therapist before and during their service.




What facial will help with sun damage?


The best choice for you would be either the Luminous C & Sea Facial or the Microdermabrasion or Dermaplaning Facial for 80-minutes. Our 80-minute facials allow ample time for our aethetician to pay special attention to areas of concern. To reach maximum results, we recommend a series of facials as well as following the recommended home care protocols. Ask your aesthetician to determine the best path for you to reach your goals. Our Peels range from sensitive (very top layer only) to mid-depth (top few layers). We highly recommend booking a FREE consultation with one of our expert aestheticians to determine which Chemical Peel is right for you. A series of three to six chemical peels will yield the best possible results in addition to following your home care routine. Our Chemical Peel services include a FREE kit with the PCASkincare products for home your care. You will receive a kit to take home and use for the first 7-10 days post procedure. COVID-19 VIRUS

Are you still open during the COVID-19 restrictions?


We are in compliance with the requirements of our Mayor and we are closed currently. We will update our website as we know more.




Has any of your staff contracted or tested positive for the Coronavirus?


No. We are happy to report that no one from the staff at XQUENDA Spa at Rancho Manana has tested positive or even shown any signs of the illness. We are all staying home with our families and healthy.




What are your plans once the quarantine is lifted?


We plan on coming back to work and serve our clients needs. We are flexible and will probably need to do things differently but we are up for the challenge and look forward to seeing our clients again soon!




Have you applied for the SBA Disaster Loan to keep your business running?


Yes! We have applied for this loan but have not gotten approved yet. We are concerned that we have only been open for just over one year and may not qualify for such a loan. :(




Do you have a back up plan if the SBA Disaster Loan does not come through?


We are trying to stay optimistic that it will, however, we are also working closely with our landlord and hoping he will be patient so we can get back to work once the quarantine is lifted.
